H.M.S. Cotswold was one of one hundred and fourteen Hunt Class minesweepers completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
On 22 August, 1918, Cotswold collided with the trawler William Ivey and drifter Ruler of the Sea. Her Lieutenant R.N.R. in Command Archibald Home Douglas was cautioned, but no further action was taken.[8]
In January, 1921, she was at Harwich, one of forty-one paid off minesweepers there.[9]
