H.M.S. Tonbridge was one of one hundred and fourteen Hunt Class minesweepers completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Tonbridge operated with the Twenty-second Fleet Sweeping Flotilla out of Portsmouth from late 1918 through at least April-May 1919, bearing the Senior Officer for the mine clearance formation.
Tonbridge paid off to a C. & M. Party on 14 October, 1919.[7]
In January, 1921, she was at Harwich, one of forty-one paid off minesweepers there.[8]
