H.M.S. Dunoon was one of one hundred and fourteen Hunt Class minesweepers completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
She commissioned directly into the hands of a C. & M. Party at Devonport on 27 June, 1919.[7]
Lt. Cdr. William Vesey Hamilton Harris commissioned her on 22 March, 1927 for service in the First Minesweeping Flotilla.[8]
Re-commissioned at Chatham on 14 August, 1936.[9]
