U.S.S. Goff was one of one hundred and fifty-six Clemson Class destroyers completed for the U.S. Navy.

Service

Goff was commissioned at the Philadelphia Navy Yard on 19 January, 1921 under the command of Lieutenant, junior grade Rodman D. DeKay.
