Commander (retired) George Griffiths, M.V.O. (15 September, 1884 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
There was an earlier British sailor named George Griffiths, and possibly others, so this page has a "(b)" in its title.
Birth dates and such for these pages might indicate confusion between various men.
Life & Career
Griffiths was promoted to the rank of Gunner on 19 October, 1910.[1]
Griffiths was promoted to the rank of Mate on 28 August, 1913.[2]
Griffiths was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 28 August, 1915.[3] Griffiths was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Commander on 15 September, 1929.[4]
