Lieutenant Frederick Charles Skinner, R.N. (6 December, 1883 – 16 February, 1905) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Cachar, India, he and three brothers were educated at Bedford Grammar School.[1]

Skinner was appointed to Thames for a course in submarines on 5 April 1904 and promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 February, 1905.[2]

Skinner was killed in an explosion in A 5 the very next day as she was alongside her depot ship Hazard.[3]
