Lieutenant (retired) Vernon Frederick Tuson, M.V.O., R.N. (19 June, 1876 – 8 September, 1914) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of a Major General.

Tuson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in December 1898.

In March 1906, he was evaluated as to his temperate habits as "not altogether".

Tuson was place on the Retired List at his own request on 1 August, 1908.

He was admitted to Haslar Hospital twice and perhaps sent to Yarmouth. He died of alcoholic delirium and pneumonia.
