Admiral Percy Molyneux Rawson Royds (5 April 1874 – 25 March 1955) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
He was appointed in command of the Bellona on 5 July, 1913,[1] through the beginning of war.[2]
He was appointed in command of the Canterbury on 24 April, 1916,[3] and commanded her in support of the Grand Fleet at the Battle of Jutland.[4]
He was appointed in command of the battleship Malaya in May 1921.
He was promoted to Rear-Admiral on 12 May 1922, and to Vice-Admiral on 1 August 1927, retiring the following day.[5]
He was advanced to Admiral on the retired list in 1932.
