Vice-Admiral Harry Woodfall Brent, R.N. (19 August, 1834 – 27 February, 1911) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Brent was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 5 January, 1856.
Brent was promoted to the rank of Commander on 5 July, 1866.[Fact Check]
During the span 1867-1870, Brent was commander in Bellerophon.
Brent was promoted to the rank of Captain on 27 April, 1875.[1]
Brent was placed on the Retired List on account of age on 19 August, 1889 and promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 5 August, 1890.[2]
Brent was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 9 November, 1896.[3]
