H.M.S. Terpsichore was one of 21 Apollo class second-class cruisers completed in the early to mid 1890s.
Service
In earlier 1894, it was ordered that she would be one of four cruisers to have her old pattern 6-in guns replaced by new quick-firing models.[5]
