Commander Henry Chapman Alcock, R.N. (22 August, 1877 – 26 March, 1925) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Alcock was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1899.[1]
Alcock was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 October, 1907.
Having recently been described as "not without ability, but lazy and lacking in Enterprise," Alcock was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Commander on 22 December, 1919.
