H.M.S. Oracle was one of one hundred and three destroyers of the "M" class built for the Royal Navy during the Great War.

Service

Oracle joined the Thirteenth Destroyer Flotilla in August, 1916.[6]

On 12 August, 1917, Oracle rammed and sank the U 44 off of South Norway.[7]

Oracle left 13 D.F. in September 1917, and in December was active with the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla.[8][9]

Reduced to C. & M. Party at Portsmouth on 1 February, 1920.[10]
