H.M.S. G 13 was one of fourteen "G" class submarines completed in Britain during the Great War, intended primarily to hunt German U-boats.

Service

On 10 March, 1917, while affiliated with the Tenth Submarine Flotilla, she sank UC 43 at 60deg 57' N., 4deg 11' W..[7]

By late 1920, she was one of six "G" class submarines in reserve at Portsmouth as the "L" group under the collective command of Lieutenant Humphrey G. Veale, tender to Dolphin.[8]
