There seems to be some disagreement over who was in command at the end.  I would think that Sandford was ill, ashore when Bradshaw was given temporary command of the sub.

H.M.S. G 11 was one of fourteen "G" class submarines completed in Britain during the Great War, intended primarily to hunt German U-boats.

There seems to be some disagreement over who was in command at the end. I would think that Sandford was ill, ashore when Bradshaw was given temporary command of the sub.
