H.M. T.B. 87 was one of six first-class torpedo boats of the T.B. 82 class.
Service
In 1895, she was one of thirteen torpedo boats of 125 feet or greater length and four smaller ones stationed in Devonport.[5]
In July 1914, T.B. 87 took part in the Test Mobilisation.[6]
In July, 1918, the boat and three minelayers from the Fast (15th Fleet) Sweeping Flotilla were the only defence forces in Falmouth.[7][8]
Sold to Stanlee of Dover on 27 March, 1920.[9]
