U.S.S. R-19 was one of twenty-seven "R" Class submarines completed for the U.S. Navy.

Service

R-19 was commissioned on 7 October, 1918 with Lieutenant Commander William F. Callaway in command.

In 1942 she was transferred to the Royal Navy, and was sunk in June.
