Commander R.N.R. (retired) Sydney Robbins, R.D. (3 March, 1894 – ) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Robbins was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 2 April, 1918.[1]
Robbins was appointed Lieutenant, R.N.R. in Command of the destroyer Orwell on 28 May, 1918.[2]
Demobilised on 24 June, 1919.[3]
Robbins was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 2 April, 1926.[4]
Robbins was promoted to the rank of Commander some time prior to his reporting in late 1949 that he was working as a cargo surveyor while living in Barkingside, Essex and was fit for home shore service only.[5]
