Lieutenant Ralph Emerson Allen, U.S.N.R.F. (14 May, 1896 – 19 May, 2000) served in the United States Navy.
Life & Career
Allen enrolled in the United States Naval Reserve Force on 12 March, 1917.[1]
Ralph Allen died on 19 May, 2000 in Des Moines, Washington at the age of 104. At the time of his death he was the oldest living Harvard graduate, and probably the last surviving commanding officer of a U.S. Navy warship during World War One.[2]
