Commander (retired) Jack Barrington Palmer, (25 December, 1903 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.
Life & Career
Palmer was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1926.[1]
Palmer was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1934.[2]
Palmer commanded the escort destroyer Whaddon from November 1942 to 8 December, 1943.[3]
Palmer commanded the sloop Pheasant from December, 1944 to 17 October, 1945.[4]
Palmer was placed on the Retired List with the rank of Commander on 25 December, 1948.[5]
