Lieutenant R.N.R. Ismay James Tyson, (2 November, 1903 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.
Life & Career
Tyson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 24 December, 1928. He was specially mentioned in a private letter from Captain Bedford to the Admiral Commanding Reserves as being an exceptionally good officer with a pleasing personality.
