Captain Herbert Whitwell Underwood, (11 September, 1886 – 8 February, 1964) served in the United States Navy.
Life & Career
Underwood was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 7 March, 1918.
Underwood was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander on 3 June, 1921.
Underwood was promoted to the rank of Commander on 7 November, 1929.
Underwood was promoted to the rank of Captain on 13 February, 1939.
Retired 1 June, 1939.
