H.M.S. Lusitania was a commercial liner, R.M.S. Lusitania which was to be converted for use as an Armed Merchant Cruiser in the Royal Navy, but it appears that she never functioned in this role, as she reverted to civilian use before being armed and was later infamously torpedoed south of Ireland.

Service

Armament

Not fitted before return to civil use.[8][9]

Captains

No naval service, despite plans for such.

She may have had a Commander R.N.R. Daniel Dow (retired) allocated to her, but I am not sure he actually assumed command.[10]
