Guy Renton Livingstone

Commander (retired) Guy Renton Livingstone, R.N. (4 November, 1878 – 5 August, 1950) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Livingstone was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1901.[1]

Livingstone was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 April, 1909.[2]

Livingstone was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 15 November, 1910.[3]

Livingstone was granted the acting rank of Commander on 3 December, 1917.[4]

Livingstone was promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) on 4 November, 1918.[5]

Post-War

World War II

Livingstone died of malnutrition and chronic alcoholism.
