Lieutenant-Commander Gerald Hubert Thompson, (22 June, 1901 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.

Life & Career

Thompson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 May, 1923.

Thompson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 May, 1931.

Thompson was appointed to Curacoa as executive officer[Inference] on 2 September, 1935.[1]

Thompson was appointed to Iron Duke on 22 January, 1940.[2]
