Commander (retired) Edward Gilbert Francis Law, ( – 15 August, 1912) served in the Royal Navy. Edward Francis Bold Law was his son.
Life & Career
Court Martialed for being drunk in January 1863, Law was dismissed the ship Forte, severely reprimanded and lost twelve months' seniority. By November, his conduct was reported as satisfactory.
However, in January 1865, he lost three more months' for misconduct.
Law was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 June, 1869.
Retired due to age with rank of Commander on 30 January, 1899.
