Colin Goyder Little

Commander Colin Goyder Little, O.B.E., D.S.C., R.A.N. (1901 – 3 January, 1977) served in the Royal Australian Navy.

Life & Career

Little was a Hydrographer, born in Mount Lofty in South Australia in 1901.

Little joined his first ship, H.M.S. Tiger in 1915.[1]

Little was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in 1922.

Little was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander with seniority of 15 February, 1930.[2]

He headed hte Hydrographic Branch from 1933-34.

Little died in his sleep while in command of the University of Sydney Research Vessel in North Australian waters.[3]
