Sixty-nine men were accepted for Naval Cadetships after qualifying examinations for the Royal Naval College, Osborne term of January, 1906. They joined the college on 11 January.[1]

The first article cataloguing their intake specifies sixty-six names, providing no information as to scores, ranking or previous schooling:[2]
