Fifty-nine candidates for naval cadetships and twenty-one for navigating cadetships were examined, producing the following successful candidates for the January, 1868 intake term at H.M.S. Britannia.[1]

Those marked with * were prepared at Eastman's Royal Naval Academy, Southsea. I have not yet found a source to indicate schools other than this.

The Times reported on the certificates and bonus seniority time earned by these men on passing out in April, 1869.[2] TODO: add that here

From September 1903 entries were also made to the Royal Naval College, Osborne under the Selborne Scheme. The Britannia was closed in July 1905 after the May entry, which was sent to Bermuda with the January entry. The following two terms under the old scheme were sent straight to the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth.
