C. A. Parsons & Company was a British company founded in 1889 by Charles Algernon Parsons to manufacture the steam turbine engines he invented.
The Parsons turbine was one of the components that greatly increased the speed and reliability of ships' powerplants throughout the Dreadnought Era.
