Bernard Trotter Coote

Commander (retired) Bernard Trotter Coote, O.B.E. (9 April, 1880 – 3 September, 1955) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Hampstead, the son of Algernon Coote, gentleman.

Coote was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 26 June, 1902.

Coote resigned his commission on 16 February, 1906 and was placed on the Emergency List.

Coote was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 26 June 1910.

In recognition of his wartime service, Coote was promoted to the rank of Commander with seniority of 11 November 1918.
