Aubrey Basil Fanshawe

Captain (retired) Aubrey Basil Fanshawe, (13 November, 1893 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Fanshawe was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 May, 1916.^[1]

Appointed first and gunnery officer of Bruce on 13 October 1919.^[2]

Fanshawe was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 May, 1924.^[3]

Fanshawe was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1929.^[4]

Fanshawe was lent to New Zealand Government for three years from 4 August, 1938.^[5]

Fanshawe was placed on the Retired List on account of age with the rank of Captain on 13 November, 1943.^[6]
