Captain Alex Colin Chapman, (15 September, 1897 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Fought at the Battle of Jutland in the battlecruiser Tiger.^[1]

Chapman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 June, 1919.^[2]

Chapman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 June, 1927.^[3]

Chapman was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1932.^[4]

Chapman was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1940.^[5]

Placed on the Retired List on 8 July, 1949.^[6]
