Lieutenant Vernon Maud, R.N. (10 February, 1862 – 20 March, 1901) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in London.

Maud was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1884.

Maud drowned when his boat was swamped by bad weather while he was in command of Leda. An inquiry found "every step possible was taken after occurrence."
