S.M.S. Ulan was one of 13 destroyers of the Huszar class.

Service

24 July 1914 stationed in Cattaro. 7 August sailed to assist the German battlecruiser Goeben. 16 August, along with the cruiser Zenta, attacked French forces. The battle lasted from 8:45 to 9:20; Zenta was sunk, but Ulan escaped without damage. 17 September assisted Monarch with bombarding a Montenegrin radio station. 18 October attacked Antivari. [6]
