24 July 1914, stationed at Pola.  On 10 August, sailed with [[S.M.S._Szigetvár_(1900)|S.M.S. Szigetvár]] to blockade Antivari.  28 August, bombarded Montenegrin positions.  17 September sailed with [[S.M.S._Ulan_(1906)|Ulan]] to support [[S.M.S._Monarch_(1895)|Monarch]]'s destruction of a Montenegrin radio station.  18 October attacked Antivari with Ulan.  1-2 March 1915, provided scouting for attack on Antivari.  2 April, returned to Pola.  19 - 22 May patrolled off of Pelagosa.  24 May, bombarded a signal station at Torre di Mileto.  June and July were spent minesweeping off of the Istrian coast and in the Gulf of Trieste.  During this time, picked up Flugboot L 42 and carried it to Trieste.  7 September avoided submarine launched torpedo.  In 1916, joined [[II_Torpedoflottille_(AH)|II Torpedoflottille]] in Pola.  23 June attacked a factory near the Tronto estuary and the railroad in Giulianova.  16 July laid mines off of Lissa.  Starting 31 October laid up for boiler replacement.  April 1917 moved to Cattaro.
