Commander (retired) Patrick Heron Watson Haig-Ferguson (9 July, 1897 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Haig-Ferguson fought at the Battle of Jutland aboard the battlecruiser Tiger. He left the ship in October 1916 when he was appointed to the destroyer Lurcher of the Harwich Force. He is one of the many men whose photos and diaries comprise the Liddle Collection, and can be found in a photograph of gun drill aboard Lurcher.[1]

Haig-Ferguson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 February, 1918.

World War II

Haig-Ferguson was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Commander on 9 July, 1942
