Captain Montague George Cartwright, R.N., Retired (10 November, 1861 – 29 January, 1941) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Kensington, the son of Thomas B. Cartwright, solicitor.

Cartwright was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 March, 1884.

Cartwright was promoted to the rank of Commander on 22 June, 1897.

Cartwright was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain on 7 September, 1908.
