Captain Henry Percy Valentine Hickman (14 February, 1876 – 9 November, 1918) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Hickman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1898.

Hickman was promoted to the rank of Commander on 22 June, 1911.

Hickman was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1916.

Hickman was appointed in command of the light cruiser Undaunted on 3 January, 1918.[1]

He became ill and was removed from command, dying of pneumonia at the Naval Hospital in Leith even before he was officially superseded in command of Undaunted.
