Service

Concord collided with the destroyer Ostrich on 19 February, 1917, prompting a reproach for Captain Paton that he should have familiarised himself with his patrol area beforehand.[8]

She re-commissioned at Devonport 24 October, 1919.[9]

Concord was re-commissioned at Devonport on 27 May, 1924 for service with the Third Cruiser Squadron in the Mediterranean.[10]

Re-commissioned at Devonport on 15 June, 1926.[11]

She re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 9 October, 1928.[12]

Paid-off on 9 December, 1932.[13]

Alterations

Concord and her sister Centaur were among the first light cruisers to be completed with a director.[14] They also had the first Evershed Bearing Indicator installations for light cruisers, possibly upon completion.[15]
