Oil painting dated 1919 by John Erasmuson who served on HMS Acheron.  The flag signal appears to indicate, according to the Flotilla Signal Book of 1913, a turn to N 62° E, but the compass table may have changed and a different heading is possible.

Oil painting dated 1919 by John Erasmuson who served on HMS Acheron.
