Lieutenant Benjamin James Blower (7 February, 1850 – 9 March, 1924) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Promoted to Chief Gunner on 1 December, 1897.
Blower was appointed to Sharpshooter as Chief Gunner in command on 29 November, 1900. Reappointed upon his promotion to Lieutenant on 1 April, 1903, he remained in her as Lieutenant & Commander or went to Skipjack — his record is not very clear on the point.
Blower retired on account of age on 7 February, 1905. He died in 1924 of chronic gout and bronchitis.
