Admiral Albert Percy Addison, C.M.G., (8 November, 1875 – 13 November, 1952) was an officer of the Royal Navy during the First World War.
Life & Career
He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1913.
In February 1915, Addison was appointed in command of the light cruiser Carysfort. In September, he became Captain of the light cruiser Dartmouth.[1]
Post-war
In January 1920, he was appointed in command of the battlecruiser Lion, relieving Wilfred Tompkinson.[2] On 15 April, he became Director of Torpedoes and Mining.
In 1922, he succeeded John Saumarez Dumaresq as Rear-Admiral Commanding H.M. Australian Fleet.[Citation needed]
