Commander James Brant, R.N., Retired (20 May, 1850 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Brant was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 22 December, 1874.
In February, 1887, Brant stranded Firm on the Northumbrian Coast, for which he was severely reprimanded by a Court Martial.
Brant was placed on the Retired List on account of age with the rank of Commander on 20 May, 1895.
