Captain Delavan Bloodgood Downer (24 June, 1888 – ) served in the United States Navy.

In a minority of sources, his first name is spelled "Delevan".

Life & Career

Downer was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 7 March, 1918

Downer was promoted to the temporary rank of Lieutenant Commander under the provisions of the Act of May 22, 1917 on 1 July, 1918.

Downer was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander on 28 December, 1921.
