Jump to navigationJump to searchLieutenant Richard Ivor Pulleyne ( – 20 July, 1918) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Pulleyne was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1911.[1]
He was appointed to Rosario for service aboard C 38 on 4 March, 1913, second in command to Lt. Rowland K. C. Pope.[2]
He was in command of the submarine E 34 on 10 May, 1918 when she sank UB 16 at 52deg 6' N., 2deg 1' E..[3]
Pulleyne lost his life when E 34 was lost with all hands.
