H.M.S. Mastiff was one of six Ant class gunboats completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Mastiff spent most of her career at Portsmouth, usually being listed as a tender to Excellent.[4][5]

She was renamed Snapper in early 1914 to clear her original name for a new destroyer, and was on the Sale List by early 1915.[6]
