A Torpedo Control Tower (often abbreviated as "T.C.T.") on a British capital ship was a cylindrical or oval-shaped armoured structure located before the aft-most turrets on the ship and which housed rangefinders and instruments dedicated to torpedo control.

Although the weight and space so dedicated seems lavish, it is worth noting that it was not generally the primary control position, as it lacked good forward arcs of visibility. The editor feels this is symptomatic of what was to become a comically excessive stress on the meager torpedo punch accorded the capital ships of the Royal Navy in this period.
