James Denham Douglas Stewart ( – ) was an officer of the Royal Navy during the First World War.

Life & Career

Stewart assumed command of the first class protected cruiser Royal Arthur in December 1915,[1] apprently while yet a Commander.

He was promoted to Captain on 30 June 1918.

In February 1921, he was appointed in command of the light cruiser Cambrian.[2]
