Harry Jones

Captain Harry Jones, Royal Navy (27 December, 1864 – 5 April, 1914) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Jones was promoted to Captain on 31 December 1904.

In May 1907, he assumed command of the second class protected cruiser Furious.[1] He remained with Furious until February 1909, when he became Captain of Suffolk for a two year posting.[2]

Jones served as captain of Implacable from November 1911 for about a year,[3] and then to Africa for a stint of equal length.[4]
