H.M.S. Shannon served in the First Cruiser Squadron at the Battle of Jutland. She was commanded by Captain Henry Blackett.

Report of Proceedings

Taken from the Official Despatches.[1] The report from Captain Blackett includes a report from his gunnery officer, Lieutenant-Commander (G) J. K. B. Birch.
